Questions
Before you enter
How does the rifle actually get to me?
Not to your door. Boise Black Rifle, our FFL partner, ships it to a licensed dealer in your home state. Idaho winners included. You fill out the ATF form, pass the background check, and pick it up there. We pay shipping and the dealer's transfer fee up to $100, and we'll help you find a dealer at that price. Any permit or license your state requires is on you.
Who can enter?
U.S. residents, 21 or older, who can legally receive a firearm where they live. Void in Florida, Rhode Island, and D.C. Some states require a permit you must already hold when you enter. The full list is in the official rules.
What if I can't legally take the rifle?
Then you forfeit the prize and we draw another winner. No cash, no gift card, no substitute. Read the rules before you enter so there are no surprises.
Do I owe taxes on it?
Yes. The prize counts as income, so we'll issue a 1099. You'll need to send us a W-9 within 7 days of being selected. That's federal law, not our preference.
When do you draw?
November 9 at 9:30 PM Mountain. We contact the winner by email and phone or text within two business days and announce publicly once the transfer is complete.
